The relays in the van are connected to eWeLink, eWeLink android widgets do not work so I have used iFTTT to create 'DoButtons', The ifttt widgets all look the same, I want them to have custom icons. The tablet is a 2013 Nexus 7 running android 6.0.1 (was previously used in my car as a 'carputer') it has Timurs kernel installed I want to replace the panel of switches with an android tablet, with custom icons and widgets to give it a very custom high tech look. I currently use either my iPhone to trigger devices or I have a very basic panel of switches to trigger the relays or events. The Smarthome is actually a Camper Van, It has a wifi router with several smart relays and light controls etc. Is there a way to create custom widgets (or change the icon for existing widgets) on an android tablet? I want to make a smart control panel with distinctive icons on the home screen I don't know if this is the correct sub but i'm assuming someone else will have run into the same problem I am trying to overcome.
